Hawzah News Agency- Speaking during a visit to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut, MP Solh met with Iranian Ambassador Mojtaba Amani, where he extended his congratulations to the Iranian leadership and people for their strength in the face of the latest Israeli and American provocations.
He also paid tribute to the martyrs of the resistance in Iran, Lebanon, and Palestine, and praised Iran’s unwavering strategic role in defending the oppressed and confronting Zionist-American aggression since the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
“Iran’s steadfastness and principled stance have been the cornerstone of resistance movements throughout the region,” Solh stated. “This unwavering support has enabled resistance forces to remain firm in the face of occupation, aggression, and regional destabilization.”
Resistance Is Not Up for Debate
The Lebanese MP firmly rejected any notion of abandoning the resistance option or withdrawing support for the Palestinian cause in either Lebanon or Iran, calling such a move "unacceptable" under current geopolitical conditions.
“The recent Zionist-American aggression against Iran is the direct result of Iran’s unshakeable commitment to resistance and the Palestinian cause,” he said. “Standing with the Palestinian people is not just a political position—it is a national, religious, and moral obligation.”
Yanal Solh went on to thank the Iranian leadership for their consistent support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and its people, particularly during critical moments of crisis and foreign aggression.
Confronting Cultural and Media Warfare
MP Solh also sounded the alarm over what he called “soft warfare” and “media aggression” by certain Western and Arab regimes. He noted that they are trying to erode national identity and dismantle the culture of resistance through disinformation and psychological operations.
“There is an urgent need to counter this war through honest media, awareness-building in education, and strengthening the narrative of resistance,” he said.
Iran's Victory and the Future of Regional Resistance
Referring to the recent confrontations between Iran and the Zionist regime, Solh said Iran’s victory goes beyond military and political gains—it affirms Tehran's regional leadership and its unwavering support for all freedom-seeking nations.
“This triumph is a clear sign of Iran’s dominant role in shaping regional equations. It sends a powerful message to the enemies of the resistance that Iran remains a pillar of strength and stability,” he stated.
He announced the launch of what he called “serious and coordinated efforts” to establish a unified resistance front in Lebanon—one that includes all factions committed to confronting Zionist occupation and defending the Palestinian cause.
On the Issue of Resistance Weapons
Addressing the ongoing debate about resistance weapons in Lebanon, Yanal Solh stressed that such discussions are premature and politically irresponsible while the Zionist regime continues to occupy Lebanese territory and violate the nation’s sovereignty.
“The weapons of the resistance are not a matter for internal contention while the enemy remains on our land, holds our prisoners, and continues its aggression,” he stated. “Only after the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces, the release of prisoners, and the end of all hostilities can a national dialogue on this issue begin.”
MP Solh concluded by reaffirming his commitment to resistance and national unity in the face of occupation and regional subjugation.
